It’s easy to say when life’s going my way
That I’m happy and sheltered and blessed
But when things fall apart and I’m worried at heart
I must still trust the Lord in the test

When the mountain is steep and the valley is deep
I’ll rely on the Lord that I love
For He said He’d be there with His grace and His care
And far more than I’m thinking of

It’s a chance to prove God in the things He will do
It's a chance to put faith on the line
I will fasten like glue to His plan and His view
And take hope in what He will design

I will not let suffering, heartache or pain
Interfere with my walk with the Lord
For my purpose and aim is to honor His name
In that there’s much joy and reward

When fear and dismay comes in like a flood
I rest in the truth of God’s Word
All negative thoughts go under the blood
Through Christ I’m encouraged and stirred

I trust in His goodness, His love and His grace
I know that He’s with me today
I feel His great presence and tender embrace
As I live in this body of clay

So use me dear Savior wherever I am
To honor and glorify You
For You are the Master, the Shepherd and Lamb
And The Great Physician Too !!!
