Oh just imagine the glory,
Our beautiful Jesus our Lord,
As He speaks to us “Welcome Home,”
Arms unfolded to His adored.

And conceive of having the Love,
The preciousness of our Jesus,
And the sweetness of His Presence,
His ongoing fragrance with us.

Glorious is the place prepared,
For the redeemed to be received,
The City of the Living God,
Our home for us as we've believed.

Heaven is the eternal home,
For me for you who love Jesus,
Our heavenly paradise awaits,
So indescribable to us.

That day will come when Jesus says,
“Welcome Home you are in heaven,”
And it will be just beautiful,
Our promised home we'll live in then.

Heaven is the place of angels,
Who rejoice when sinners repent,
And because Jesus our Savior,
Whom we love is God’s Son He sent.

After death visits us on earth,
Our spirit lives on upward bound,
Carried by angels to Jesus,
Our Lord we will see heaven bound.

Precious in the sight of the Lord,
Are we at death and we will be,
Instantly transformed to receive,
Heaven's wonders and its beauty.

And each of us who love Jesus,
Are welcomed in heaven’s splendor,
To witness rejoicing angels,
Around God’s Throne forevermore.

We will see Jesus face to face,
And our loved ones we will know them,
And there will be no more sorrow,
In eternity who loves Him.
