There is a
place I know
Where gladness reigns supreme
Where Church bells ring
And bluebirds sing
And I can sit and dream

A place beside a babbling brook
The moon a silver crescent
Where flowers bloom
With sweet perfume
And God is ever present

Sweet contentment in the air
My mind filled with reflection
At times like this
I reminisce
Around me is perfection

My mind becomes distracted
From all life's daily woes
My heart at peace
My cares release
Serenity within me flows

I sit and talk with God
My fears are all allayed
All is well
As I bid farewell
To my secret garden glade
