I often
wonder about when I'm gone
And what my legacy will be.
Did I do my best with my time on Earth?
Will anyone remember me?
Have I made amends to all the ones
I may have hurt along life's way?
Are there grudges that need letting go
Or any debts I should repay?
Did I help less fortunate people
And show them love and kindness?
Will my family, friends and loved ones
Remember me with fondness?
I must get my priorities straight
And always strive to do my best.
My goal in life from now on will be
To inherit Heaven's eternal rest.
I'll use the Bible as my guide
And be what God wants me to be.
So when I'm called on Judgment Day
He will surely remember me.
