~ An Hour With
You~
Never in my mind’s eye would I guess,
You would soon be leaving me,
Unforgettable are you and I’m,
In love with you hopelessly.
As I gather my thoughts I breathe in,
Everything as I still feel,
You close wanting to draw much nearer,
To me because my love’s real.
In the misty air how I gulp back,
Cries for the love we have shared,
Needing you more specifically,
To tell me you’ve always cared.
My heart is faint and pale with distress,
Wondering what is next,
What is ahead of us in this life,
I don’t know now I’m perplexed.
Never ever could we be sorry,
Just emphatically glad,
To be together when it deemed so,
Yet now pondering, I’m sad.
For the most part we've always assured,
Each other we would remain,
The way we were with no commitments,
For only love was our gain.
I stand here wondering higher up,
If wishes will now come true,
I’m lost without you beside me now,
Thinking over what I'll do.
I breathe in heavily because I,
Feel you don’t even want me,
Having my heart and all my love I’m,
Pondering, are we to be?
