I lost my way in the valley,
But I did not stay too long,
Someone was there watching,
To help when I went wrong.

I knew that someone cared for me,
I felt it deep inside.
And I had peace throughout the storm,
With all the tears I have cried.

It must have been my Lord Jesus,
Who else could it be?
That loved me enough,
To come and set me free.

So I have a reason to smile today,
Jesus has sent angels my way,
And I have a reason to sing and shout,
For Jesus my Savior has bought me out.
