Even in the darkest of times
There is always hope
To lift the heart, yours and mine,
Because God said he will be by our side
Helping us to cope.

Look for the rainbow
And take heart when it begins to glow
Reminding you that faith in God
Is the life raft to bring you through.

The storm may bring you to your knees
With the weight that besets
But always remember, please
That God never forgets.

He set a rainbow in the sky after the flood
And promised that never again would he destroy man
And sent Jesus to shed His blood
To give life eternal if you believe and take his hand.

Look for the rainbow of hope
When you begin to flounder
And realize God is always there to keep you afloat
And that is a marvelous wonder.
