There are times that make me leap for joy
When my heart is happy as can be
Because something wonderful happened to me
And I just have to shout
Letting the joy out.

With the dawning of a new day
I rejoice that once more
There will be time to say
How much I love those I adore
Who have blessed me
With love and friendship each and every day
In such a marvelous way.

Times when love springs anew
Filling my heart with memories of you
Of how our life is blessed
With joy and happiness.
I smile and give you a kiss
As my heart leaps for joy
Full of love and bliss.

Times when my heart swells with pride
And I simply cannot hold the joy inside
But have to voice praise for how I have been blessed
By accomplishments of my children, great or small
Which doesn't matter at all
For joy swells and grows
And I shout with joy so everybody knows.

The time when the gift of salvation came to me
And from the sin debt I was free
To serve a wonderful Savior as Lord
While here on earth and when the end comes for me
I will leap for joy through eternity
Praising God forever more.
