It is said time flies
when you're having fun
And how it always seems to slip away
Our time on Earth has been allotted
For a predetermined array
Most of us have the right and ability
To control how our time is spent
Whether we waste it or use it is up to us
Time cannot be bartered nor lent
This precious gift that we've been given
Should never be taken for naught
Take the time to help your fellow man
Plan your days with care and thought
Allow plenty of time for family and friends
Don't waste even a valuable minute
We do not know when we'll leave this Earth
Nor our seconds remaining in it
Live each moment as if it's your last
Because it may be that it's true
Be prepared to meet your Maker
And always your faith renew
There will be neither clocks nor calendars
When we reach that Golden Shore
Sorrow and strife will all be over
And time won't matter forevermore
