Lord You are my joy and life
No one will steal my joy,
I'll strive to live close to You
And meet You by and by.

The enemy can camp about me
But I will have no fear,
One day I will view heaven
If I spend much time in prayer.

My Lord is with me in my trials
He hides me under His wings
I will give Him all my praises,
All my love to Him I'll bring.

Lord keep me close to You I pray
Teach me to live Your way
Hide not Your face from me O Lord
Your love and peace are outpoured.

I'll wait, watch and pray
Until You return for me someday,
I'll take courage and live for Him
When He returns, I'll enter in.
