~ An Hour With You~
Jesus let all come to know
You now,
As the Redeemer Adored,
Mankind’s One True Deliverer known,
Christ Jesus the Risen Lord.
Jesus knew this was the only way,
So He redeemed us and served,
As our substitute paying with death,
The penalty we deserved.
His whole mission and motivation,
For coming to Earth was Love,
To save us from the dark rebellion,
Against God from Above.
Yes the Father sent His Beloved Son,
Loving us so much He gave,
Jesus who knew from the beginning,
He’d be sacrificed to save.
Let us remember the words He spoke,
That the Son of God Who is,
Must be handed o’er to sinful hands,
Crucified, Rise, Yes He lives!
Betrayed and forsaken by His own,
The agonies of cruel stripes,
The shredding of flesh through to the bone,
As His Blood spilled for a price.
Excruciating pain on that Cross,
The pulling out of the bones,
The nailed huge spikes crushed hard to sever,
Alone He cried in deep moans.
The Gentle Lamb of God slain for all,
Out of Love He did forgive,
Saying, "They do not know what they do,”
And with His Life He did give!
Savior, The King of The Jews, The Lord,
Emmanuel just for us,
God’s Love died bearing the whole world’s sins,
God's Son of Mankind, Jesus.
Jesus let all come to know You now,
As the Redeemer Adored,
Mankind’s One True Deliverer known,
Christ Jesus the Risen Lord.
