Children are a special gift,
Sent from God above!
We are only lent them for awhile,
To have, to hold, and to love.
So let us do our very best,
With tender love and care,
To welcome them into our family,
For God has placed them there!

Who put the "grand" in grandchildren?
It surely was God above!
He knew there would be,
A time in our lives,
When we would need their kind of love!
So, we must always be there for them,
With a love tender, yet strong!
We must teach them the things,
We taught our kids,
While "passing the faith along!"
