A rainbow is a pretty
thing
It always sets me wondering
What is on the other side
Just what secrets does it hide
Are their Bluebirds over there
And lovely butterflies so rare
Are there flowers blooming bright
Basking in the bright sunlight
Do the Eagles soar so high
Beyond that rainbow in the sky
Is the gentle little Dove
Gently cooing to His Love
And do little angels play
Behind that rainbow everyday
Where does the rainbow go at night
Or when it has faded from my sight
Beyond the rainbow I can't see
What is waiting there for me
Someday the answer I will know
When God takes me beyond the rainbow
