A song of hope, a song of love and a song in my heart that is so clear
Music like on a thousand strings but yet quieting as on chimes
A wishing well is tempting my thoughts to draw you near
Your picture is with me as I think of the coming times

Whenever your beauty is before me and I can see your radiant smile
Can a long lasting hope and dream become a wonderful reality
By the beauty of a caring love and an understanding smile
Will God give me this song of life and make it finality

All of these many years that I dreamed a dream of a soft and quiet love
I thank my God for this face of love that is so wonderfully true

That precious gift is mine to always have and never miss
A wonderful gift to have, to hold and always to love

When our two worlds join and in this God’s world we become one

Bringing the love of Christ into our home God’s only Son
