It's very windy and cold
outside
Like a razor, it can penetrate you
Whipping and dancing all around
With each gust, it does something new.
Out of nowhere snowflakes start to appear
They're being swirled all over the ground
Like the falling leaves in Autumn
The snow is cascading down.
A whiteness permeates the air
As the snow is blown about
It looks just like a blizzard outside
It's Old Man Winter, no doubt.
He's telling us that he's coming
And what Winter is going to be
The coldness, the wind, and the snow
As the temperature drops by degrees.
So bundle up and stoke that fire
Stay indoors where it's nice and warm
If you venture out, be prepared
Because this Winter won't be like the norm.
