Have you ever thought of night time,
As when the World goes to sleep?
Just imagine all is bright and beautiful,
But suddenly it ceases to be.
The sun will set in the evening,
Suddenly it's out of sight.
Birds will go to nest in trees,
Most will cease in flight.
Usually the winds will calm,
And all is quiet and peaceful.
But there is still life in this World,
Some so quiet and graceful.
There are birds like Owls,
Sitting in the trees,
Watching for their prey,
While most of the World's asleep.
Have you ever wondered,
Why birds stop flying when they do?
And why birds nest in trees,
Understanding isn't meant for you.
But we didn't create the World,
Or anything that's in it.
We just accept what there is,
And glad for it's beginning.
I like to look around and think,
What goes on when I'm asleep.
Things I'd never understand,
Like things in oceans deep.
Or why a Bear will go all Winter,
Not coming out to eat.
He hibernates through the Winter,
Waiting for Spring and Summer treats.
Animals have the instinct,
To know when changes come.
Some birds fly South in Winter,
Waiting for the Summer sun.
Think how Butterflies come to be,
A cocoon holding a living thing.
It fights it's way to freedom,
With grace and lovely wings.
Nature is a lovely thing,
We take it as it is.
Many things we can't understand,
These secrets all are His.
So Join the World and sleep awhile,
And leave the rest to Him.
He is in control of all,
He holds the answer to everything.
