The days are passing much too fast
They just seem to pass us by,
When did we become so complacent?
I seem to keep asking "why?"
Why did we allow others to make our decisions?
And allow our Country to go astray?
What were we Christians thinking?
Why did we stay silent and just bow and Pray?
God's Name is eliminated
We can’t express our Christian point of view.
Prayer from school has been remove
Honoring Christ in public, why that just won‘t do.
Silence has allowed the unbeliever
To take our Christian freedom away,
We are so restricted in our beliefs
Now we are concerned about what we can say.
This is our Home, America The U S A
This is where our families and friends live,
We own land and businesses here.
We have much to offer. We have much to give.
Why have we lost sight of our goals and dreams?
Have we given up? Do we even know why?
Maybe we should stand up for what we believe
We might succeed, we won’t know until we try.
