I went for a walk in the morning
At the breaking of the day
It was gently snowing
As I went along my way
The pine trees looked so pretty
With their branches covered in snow
And in the field the deer tracks
I could see just where they go.
I took a walk in the afternoon
When the snow had ceased to fall
The sun was there behind the clouds
And I heard the Mourning Dove call
I took a walk in the evening
As the sun was going down
Casting the shadows of the trees
On the cold and frosty ground
I finished my walk and turned to home
And I thanked my God above
For this perfect day He gave me
Filled to the brim with His Love.
