At times when things are looking bleak
God comes with love and care
When I’m in pain and cannot speak
The Comforter Is There

When things have turned me upside down
And life seems so unfair
I trust The One who wears The Crown
The Comforter Is There

When restless days and sleepless nights
Produce much wear and tear
On Jesus I can set my sights
The Comforter Is There

When I go through some pain or loss
With burdens hard to bear
I think of Christ upon the Cross
The Comforter Is There

This one thing I will keep in mind
There’s power in a prayer
For when I seek, I surely find
The Comforter Is There

For who can measure God’s great Love
This truth I now declare
No matter what I’m thinking of
The Comforter Is There !!!

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 What a wonderful God we have –
He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Source
Of every mercy, and the One who so wonderfully comforts
And strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why
Does He do this? So that when others are troubled, needing
Our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them
This same help and comfort that God has given us.
