Thank God for His goodness and mercy to me!
Jesus is my Joy, my Strength, and my Hope!
Without Him where would I be?
His daily Presence helps me to cope!

I need not stray to the left or right.
He is an ever present Guide.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light!
He's always walking by my side!

Some folks misunderstand,
They think I use Jesus for a crutch.
And that's why I must hold onto His Hand.
But, they may have never felt His touch.

With mere words I cannot convey,
The peace I feel inside!
Old things have passed away!
In Him I daily abide!

Sometimes old satan tries to make me doubt.
But, he knows very well I've been born again.
Yes, King Jesus brought me out,
Of that awful pit of sin.
