I know you
are suffering sorrows,
And baring so much pain,
And I wish that I could help you,
And make you well again.
I know you think you are alone
And at times there’s much despair
But God wants you to know Dear John,
That He is lingering near.
He promised He would love you forever,
And wanted you to know,
This burden is not here forever,
And in the valley you will grow.
Just keep your eyes upon Him John,
It will all be over soon,
Jesus is preparing a Mansion,
And for you a special room.
On the days you feel discouraged,
And you can’t make it through,
Just remember how much He suffered,
When He went to Calvary for me and you.
There’s coming a day not to far away,
When your pain will be no more,
Just think of the crown that awaits you,
On Heaven’s Eternal Shore.
