God paints me a rainbow
Stretched across the sky
The colors are so beautiful
And pleasing to my eye
He shows me treasured memories
Inside each pretty hue
Of my family and my friends
Whose days on Earth are through
Each memory is a treasure
I am thankful they are there
I carry them inside my heart
When my rainbow is not there
No matter how much rain may fall
Or troubled I may be
The sun will shine and in the sky
My rainbow I will see
I only need to look
In the sky above
To see my special rainbow
God created with His Love
When I soar on eagles wings
A new rainbow I will see
God and loved ones waiting
