When my life on Earth has ended,
And I’ve crossed over Jordan’s tide,
I shall tour that Celestial City,
Yonder on the other side!

First of all, I want to see Jesus,
The One who died for me!
Many times I’ve felt His Presence!
But, then His Blessed Face I’ll see!

I’ll join the Heavenly Choir,
Of our God, the Great I Am,
Singing in perfect unison,
“Worthy, worthy is the Lamb!”

No doubt I’ll meet the Lord’s Apostles,
And embrace them one and all!
I sure want to talk with Simon Peter,
And hear from Brother Paul!

Yes, the saints from all the ages,
Shall have fellowship Divine,
And in that land of no more darkness,
The Son of God will shine!

I will see my precious loved ones,
Who’ve outrun me in life’s race,
And I’ll feel such jubilation,
As I look upon each face!

There will be no more heartache,
No more sickness, pain, or fear!
Our hearts will not be broken,
And we’ll never shed a tear!
