I was lost deep in the valley,
And was trapped there all alone,
So filled with grief and agony,
Like I have never known.

My heart became so heavy,
The tears, I could not hold,
And I could not see the angel,
Reaching down below.

With arms outstretched towards me,
To bring me safely through,
The valley that I fell in,
Where I could see no view.

He brought me to the mountain top,
And I found my Jesus there,
With arms so gently open,
I ran to Him in tears.

"It's okay, My child" He said,
"I will always be Your guide,
And if you ever fall again,
I'll be right by your side."

"Yes, if You ever fall again
I'll be right there by your side."
