My soul just bid this world “adieu,”
And I’m traveling faster than the speed of light!
Heaven quickly comes into view,
And I’m awed by the beautiful sight!

Gates of Pearl swing open on their own!
Then, I walk down Streets of Gold,
To join the Saints around God’s Throne,
As the Heavenly drama unfolds!

I hear the calling of the Roll,
And rejoice when I hear my name!
Ah, I have such peace in my soul,
Knowing I’ll never be the same!

I receive a just reward,
When before God’s Throne I stand!
And I Praise our Blessed Lord,
Holding my crown in my hand!

Then, I lay my crown at Jesus’ Feet,
And such Glory I feel!
Ah, His Presence is so sweet,
As before Him I kneel!

All memories of Earth disappear,
Former things have passed away!
I have no cause to fear,
“Tis a grand and glorious day!
