John 3: 17

For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.

Just a spec of dust in the universe,
Is all that I am.
Ah, but I’ve been washed in the Blood,
Of Calvary’s Spotless Lamb!

Why Jesus would die for me,
I really do not know.
But, His soul cleansing Blood,
Has made me whiter than snow!

This life changing process,
Is a mystery to mortal men.
However, down through the ages,
It’s happened time and time again!

Murderers, thieves,
Drunkards, harlots, and such,
Have been transformed completely,
By the Master’s Loving Touch!

He took their burden of sin,
They had carried for so long,
Filled their hearts with gladness,
And gave them a new song!

The things they once did,
They don’t do any more,
For their affections are focused,
On Heaven’s Golden Shore!
