How sweet it is To be home again Resting in my bed With sweet dreams in my head. Dreams of time spent With loved ones sweet And a helping hand lent To assure time together was well spent. Precious memories were made Angry words chased away With thoughts making us afraid Sharing not be limited just to this day. Remembrances sweet Of days of yore Wishing for more Such times again to meet. Sisters sharing through the day And long into the night Almost 'til dawn's early light Like we did back then Happy to do it once again. Thanking God for giving long life Sometimes filled with strife But also many joys and happiness Knowing we are truly blessed. Traveling many miles alone Tired as the miles rolled along Bringing me back home again Where sweet comfort reigns.
