He is the Good Shepherd, He gave His Life for me.
Christ, in His Atonement through death gave Victory.
Before Him the lonely Cross did wait,
His death gave Life and opened Heaven's gate.

He did not seek His own but obeyed His Father's Will.
Laying down His life for me upon Calvary's dark hill.
He, the Good Shepherd, caring always for His sheep,
Gave His All gladly, His children He did keep.

Gladly answer Jesus, give Him your all.
Answer quickly, dear one, when you hear the Shepherd Call.
