I was a stranger but
You comforted me when
The dark corners
Prevailed me.

I was asleep but now
I am awake to the
Wonder of the secrets
That were once hidden.

I was in despair but
Now I walk with You
My friend, for Your
Path is the way for me.

I was in darkness but
You came with a light
Which is now glowing
Within my heart.

I was lost in the wilderness
But You my Shepherd came
To take me back into
Your everlasting fold.
