When my three girls were babies,
I was happy as could be,
I always knew right where they were,
And I kept them close to me.

I rocked my little baby girls,
And held them oh so tight,
I asked God for an angel,
To keep them safe at night.

Their infant days passed quickly,
Soon they learned to walk,
It wasn't very long until,
They discovered they could talk.

Alas these little toddlers, 
Too soon were off to school,
Learning of the ABC's,
And about the Golden Rule.

On they went to High School,
Where they soon discovered boys,
And they had no more interest,
In any of their toys.

My girls found someone special,
And though it made me kind of sad,
I knew these boys would join our family,
And I was truly glad.

The years passed quickly one by one,
My little girls left home,
Each married their own special man,
And soon had babies of their own.

First my sweet granddaughter,
The darling of my heart,
Followed by four special grandsons,
They completely stole my heart.

My family just keeps growing,
I have step great-grandchildren too,
Each of you very special,
I love each one of you.

Soon God gave me a great grandson,
So precious and so sweet,
He and his Mommy joined our family,
And my life is now complete.

I thank God for all of you,
I love you more each day,
No matter where you go in life,
You are in my heart to stay.
