Please don't cry puppy,
I will be alright,
I am going to see granny,
She lives in Heaven's light.

You remember her I know,
She was your favorite one,
You followed her all day from,
Sunrise until day was done.

I wish you could come with me,
I'll miss you every day,
We will look down on you to,
Make sure that you're okay.

Oh I do love you my sweet puppy,
You can play chase with the boys,
They will throw the ball for you and,
Play tug with your favorite toys.

Now don't you be sad my little one,
You see I am happy as can be,
I am going to live with Jesus and,
One day maybe you'll come see me.

See my beautiful angel standing here,
She is waiting for me to tell you bye,
I already talked to everyone else,
Wonder if they saw my angel fly.

It is exciting to be going to see Jesus,
You see He died to save our souls,
Remember my Bible Story book,
I used it for the stories I told.

Now you be good and don't try to come,
It is not your time just yet,
I bet you could follow me though as,
I leave my footsteps to Heaven.

Oh please don't be so sad my friend,
You make the angel's tear drops fall,
She is already sad about my leaving,
I can still hear my Mommy's call.

I have to go now for Jesus is waiting,
He sent the angel to take me home,
He did not want me to be sick anymore,
So I will live near His beautiful Throne.

When you really miss me bad,
Come outside and look around,
You will see my footsteps to heaven,
Glitter in angel dust on the ground.

Bye, Bye, I love you sweet puppy.
One day just beyond the ridge,
I will run to greet you when,
You walk along Rainbow Bridge.
