The last days of Summer Are fading away Evenings are longer Shorter the day. The warm hazy days We spent in the sun Will soon be a memory When Summer is done. The flowers in the garden Are going to seed The fields are yellow With the Goldenrod weed. The leaves on the trees Have a soft pretty glow Preparing themselves For their up coming show. So as Summer fades We look forward to Fall October, the most Colorful month of them all. Each season a gift That God sends our way We know each will pass For they cannot stay. And so as our Summer Fades into the past Look forward to Fall It too will not last. Praise God in His heaven For each passing day Enjoy them be thankful For they will fade away. Judy Marriott© E-mail
