It’s Easy To Love The People Who Love
And care for the people who care
But what about people not easy to love
Should we reach out and spend some time there?

It’s Easy To Stand With The Saved And The Blessed
And to worship with those of like mind
But what about those who are lost and depressed
Can we honestly leave them behind?

It’s Easy To Sing A Hymn Or A Song
Or be moved by a message we hear
But what of the people who struggle along
Can we help them and bring them some cheer?

It’s Easy To Say That We Want Our Own Way
As we tend to our business on Earth
But what of the seekers who cry out today
“Is my life of some value and worth?”

It’s Easy To Watch And To Not Get Involved
When we’re busy like never before
But what of the issues that need to be solved
Like the sin we have come to ignore?

It’s Easy To Run With The Folks Who Are Nice
Staying safe in a group that is fed
But what about Christ and His great sacrifice
Is there hope for the sick and the dead?

We Need To Get Out Of Our Comfort Zones
And embrace what is never expected
We need to throw open our hearts and our homes
To the hopeless, and lost and rejected

It Will Not Be Easy, The Battle Will Rage
Some people will not understand
But this is the time to speak up and engage
And Obey Our Great Savior’s Command

So Onward And Upward In Serving The King
Let’s Go Beyond What Is Expected
Let’s Give God The Glory In Every Last Thing
And Walk In The Way He’s Directed !!!
