At the closing of the day,
When you stop to kneel and pray,
Think of loved ones far away.

Lift them to our Father above
And ask His blessing from above
Perhaps there's a loved one.

Lost in sin,
Pray to your Father,
To bring them in.

Or maybe you have wronged,
Someone today,
Ask for forgiveness,
As you pray.

Be silent and listen with your ears,
What is it Jesus is trying to say,
At the close of the day.

When you kneel to pray,
Leave it to God, He'll do it,
His way.
