Quite often in the night, 
There in the darkness without a light, 
I call upon my Blessed Saviour’s Name! 

When, I feel His Presence near, 
My loneliness will disappear, 
And my outlook on life is not the same!

Oh, it’s wonderful to know, 
My sins are covered by the Crimson Flow, 
And my name is written in God’s Book of Life!

Ah yes, my soul is Heaven bound, 
And soon I’ll hear the joyful sound, 
Of Saints singing far above this world of strife! 

So, I don’t need the world’s pity. 
You see, I’m heading for that Holy City, 
The New Jerusalem, John saw coming down! 

There in the Presence of the Lord,
I’ll receive my Eternal Rewards, 
A Mansion, a White Robe, and a Crown!
