I was lost in the night.
No peace could I find.
I was searching for the light,
And relief for my mind.

The melody was gone,
From my wretched soul.
As I wandered aimlessly on,
I lacked any goal.

But, one day I heard,
That The Man Of Galilee,
Could just speak the word,
And darkness had to flee!

So, at His feet I knelt,
And gave Him my heart.
Then, sweet peace I felt,
As the teardrops began to start!

Jesus took the load of sin,
I had carried for so long,
Gave me joy within,
And a brand new song!

Thank God, I don’t have to sing,
The blues any more!
You see, my Father is the King,
Of Heaven’s bright shore!

A symphony of love,
Daily rings in my heart,
For God up above,
Gave me a new start!
