Winds blow around us with force strong or mild
Bringing with it times of change for me and you.
Let it change my cold heart to a warm loving one
Open to feelings tender and true.

Blow away all resentment that clogs my heart
With hatred for those who think different than me
And make me willing to extend my hand and friendship start
Bringing more love so my life will more blessed be.

With the wind let my feelings of self-doubt fly away
Giving me hope to face challenges coming today
Letting the breeze bring courage to be the best I can be
Knowing that is all God wants of me.

As the wind blows away all that is bad,
Replace it with that which is good and pure
So my heart will open to all who seek love.
Then, joy and happiness will be mine for sure.

Cleanse me and put within me a pure heart
Full of love and kindness for friends and family
So my days on earth will be blessed all the time
And my Lord can say, "This child is mine."
