I won’t have to worry about my
sorrow,
Or the anguish I feel today,
I won’t worry about tomorrow then,
Nor the storms that came my way.
No more tears will run without control,
When I reach the other Shore,
My hands will rise in worship,
As my spirit will start to soar.
When I touch Calvary where Jesus is waiting,
I will walk on streets of gold,
Never more to suffer heartaches,
Like so many times before.
I won’t have to cry in my pillow at night,
And soak it full of tears,
Or look back at all my pain in life,
I will have only happy years.
It will happen when I touch Calvary,
And reach my home at last,
Free of fear of another tomorrow,
It will be all behind in the past.
