I saw such beauty heavenward
While gazing to the sky in prayer,
I looked beyond the clouds to see
All my Lord has said is there.

Come I will show you, the Bride
The angel said to John,
The beautiful wife of the lamb
For you to gaze upon.

A mansion in the heavens
Fashioned wondrously,
God has been at work
designing her...
To fit Him perfectly.

Just imagine the glowing beauty,
All the brilliant shine.
The dazzling jasper walls
Where the bride will richly dine.
The gates, translucent pearl,
The streets transparent gold,
Foundations of magnificent layers
Twelve jewels there unfold.

The first layer, burns of Jasper red,
Sapphire gleams it's richest blue.
Chalcedony quartz sheds varied tone,
Emerald emanates a deep green hue.
Sardonyx alternates
orange, yellow, white,
Red carnelian
and olive green chrysolite.

Beryl diffuses pale soft green,
blue and yellow bright,
Transmarine, the blue topaz,
Oh, what a wondrous sight.

Chrysoprase glimmers golden green,,
Jacinth radiates an autumn glow,
Purple amethyst brilliantly royale,
Rainbow wonders of our God alone.

There, I see One seated on the rainbow throne,
Saying "I am making all things new
IT IS DONE, I AM THE BEGINNING AND THE END,
My Word is trustworthy, ever true.

To him who is thirsty,
Come, be refreshed and drink of Me,
To him who overcomes
I will be a Father eternally."

Those found in the Lamb's book of life
The pure, the washed, the blessed.
Will drink the water of eternal life,
Will eat forever of the tree of life,
Live forever in this promised rest,
And know The Father's perfect best.

I found no temple worship there
The Lord's beauty, all to see,
His glory, all the light
"HE" illuminating all eternity.

I looked for tears
But there was none,
I looked for death,
But it was stolen by The Son.

I looked for pain,
For it's mournful
wretched sigh,
But found
only perfect joy,
I looked, believed
And knew, with all my heart
that was where
forever
I will fly.

"A beautiful pearl is born from injured life-
The pearl IS the wound, the injury of the oyster.
Thus, everlasting life
is wrought only by blemish, and hurt.
Because we have been injured by sin,
Because He was wounded for us,
the pearl is......"
