Everywhere we look today
The picture’s not so good
The Land we knew has lost it’s way
It’s Slipped From Where It Stood

Foreclosures here, foreclosures there
As Banks and Business fail
There’s fear and anger in the air
The Check’s Not In The Mail

And yet we can’t place all the blame
On Government and Banks
We took the loans and signed our name
And Joined The Debtors Ranks

We took the chance and made the move
And lived beyond our means
To those around we tried to prove
We’d Made It To Our Dreams

Today we find that things have changed
And we must come to terms
The System now is re-arranged
And There Are Deep Concerns

Our Country’s headed down a trail
Where folks have gone before
The best of plans will surely fail
If History We Ignore

When (We The People) turn from God
And go it on our own
Soon much of what we do is flawed
And Evil We Condone

For what we need, we’ll never find
In government and schemes
We must love God with heart and mind
And Neighbors, So It Seems

We must reach out to everyone
And work toward the goal
Be strong until the race is run
And Not Forget Our Soul

It’s time to take some action now
And be what we can be
Remember what God did endow
He Shed His Grace On Thee

He has a plan, He’s not confused
He made it and He knows
He’ll help us now to be enthused
Through Him The Blessing Flows !!!
