Our best is never good enough
To enter Heaven’s Door
It’s not our works or saintly stuff
These truths we can’t ignore

We cannot find our way to God
With rituals and creeds
Or walk the road that’s wide and broad
And claim the Spirit leads

Some people try to just get by
With burdens they are bearing
When help’s at hand from God on high
With Whom they could be sharing

There comes that time in all our lives
When Looking Turns To Living
If we do that our spirit thrives
And getting moves to giving

Real Faith is never locked in fear
With guilt and condemnation
It’s filled with lots of Joy and Cheer
A Wondrous Celebration

It’s not Religion, yours or mine
It’s in – “Relationship”
We move from self to things Divine
And He directs “The Trip”

We cannot get there on our own
But Jesus Made A Way
For every sin He did atone
He cultivates the clay

Christ Jesus Is The Only One
He Rose Against The Odds
The Work Is Done, The Battle’s Won
He’s God Above All Gods !!!
