Oh Lord I sit in
humbleness,
Heart aching for the pain,
You suffered for me to live,
Forever voiding death's stain.
Struggling beneath the burden of,
A Cross so heavy to bear,
Carrying the sins of the world,
This heart filled with loving care.
A crown of thorns upon Your head,
Swords pierced Your sides,
Your precious Blood soaked the ground,
Changing forever my life's tides.
Buried in a borrowed cave,
A huge stone to seal the door,
Death had no power o'er You,
Christ Jesus lives forevermore.
I raise my eyes to the Heavens,
Give Praise to my wondrous King,
Forgiven and loved by the Master,
To my Lord always I'll cling.
