Raindrops just keep falling,
You wonder if they'll ever end.
But then the phone call comes,
It's that very special friend.

They cheer me when I'm feeling lonely,
And makes me feel real good.
We share the happenings from the day before,
The things we all endure.

I looked outside and realized,
My grass was greener than green.
Maybe because a friend had called,
And that's just the way it seemed.

Under every cloud there is sunshine,
Although it may not be in view.
Just remember there is a silver lining,
Behind every cloud for you.

Look to the brighter side.
There are two sides to everything.
Some days may dampen your spirit,
But there is a silver lining for you.

This has been a stormy Spring,
Flooding just every where.
Water standing in the yards and homes,
People in despair.

We don't know what is best for us,
Where needs begin and end,
But during Summers hot and dry,
We'll think back how wet it's been.

We've had the rain to refresh the Earth,
Where drought became so real,
Now it's hot and dry and needed,
To save the crops and fields.

But isn't it really true,
We complain each day,
Over everything we see or do?
That doesn't go our way?

Be content with what you have,
It's what God's word does say.

Philippians 4:11
For I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am, therefore to be content.
Just allow God to lead the way.
