Some grand and glorious day,
When old things have passed away,
And behold, all things are new,
Up there on Heaven's golden strand,
We'll stroll together hand in hand!

Oh, I long for that moment! Don't you?
We will have no desire to cry,
For there nobody will die!
Sickness will be gone without a trace!

We'll have no pain, you see,
And contented we will be,
Just to look upon our Saviour's Face!
So, "keep the faith," my friend.

Life's journey soon will end,
And we'll go shouting through the pearly gates!
Ah, though we may struggle down here,
We have no need to fear!
The forecast for our future looks great!
