Three Men Had Been Condemned To Die
For Crimes Against The State
As Crowds Around Cried “Crucify”
This Was To Be Their Fate

But One Man On The Cross That Day
Was Jesus Christ The Lord
He Knew This Was The Only Way
His Blood Could Be Outpoured

For Only Christ Could Save The Soul
And Set The Captive Free
His Blood Would Cleanse And Make Men Whole
And Give Them Liberty

Two Thieves Were Dying For A Heist
One Scoffed And Then He Railed
He Said To Christ, If You Are Christ
Save Us Who Are Impaled

But Then The Other Thief Declared
Don’t You At Least Fear God?
For In Our Sins We Both Have Shared
But This Man Is Not Flawed

We Do Deserve To Be Condemned
But He Has Done No Wrong
I Choose Right Now To Be His Friend
I Want To Sing His Song

Remember Me! The Thief Cried Out
While Hanging On The Cross
Your Kingdom Is What Life’s About
I Leave My Sin And Loss

Then Jesus Said To That Glad Thief
Today You’ll Be With Me
In Paradise - For Your Belief
For All Eternity

So If Some Day You Plan To Be
With God In Paradise
Just Say Dear Lord, Remember Me
I’ve Claimed Your Sacrifice

Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement
Of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes
We are healed.
