Oh, how glad I am of Easter
Such a stirring in my soul,
To thank my God for all He's done
To make my spirit whole.

Now I look into the mirror
And how gladly do I smile,
For I know my dear Lord Jesus
Is with me all the while.

I need not fear tomorrow,
For He made my spirit free
And put His wings within me
To fly eternally.

Upon the Cross He took my sin
And I said, thank You Lord,
Please take my sin and change me
As promised in Your Word.

And now each day's a wonder
E'en though it may be sad,
For though life has its heartaches
He still has made me glad.

I have a joy that bubbles
From way down deep within,
From the lasting peace He's given
By forgiving all my sin.

I'm so thankful He's my Father,
My Saviour, my dear friend,
My spirit, made alive
In life that never ends.

Your Holy Spirit enfolds me - making me realize I am not alone.
Thank You for Your strength,
Your wisdom and the comfort of Your presence.
Even in the most agonizing times
I have the knowledge that You are there, Lord.
When all I can do is whisper Your Name, it is enough.
You hear. You care. You understand.
My praise and adoration, Lord Jesus. Amen.
