Please join me for tea, my friend
It would be so nice for both you and me
For it is fun to share a cup or two
With someone that is as sweet as you

A cup of tea for you and a cup for me
Maybe some cream and sugar for us too
So please, come my friend and have tea with me
While we drink it, we will share a laugh or two

So sometime if you don’t have much to do
I would love to spend some time with you
I’ll even share my favorite cups with you
Now remember my dear sweet friend

If sometime you may need someone to talk to
I will always be here just waiting for you
