He walked tall and
Stood so proud
His presence, assuredly,
Stood out in the crowd
His chosen profession,
To protect and serve
The law, he vowed to
Uphold and preserve
Officer of truth, he
Gained respect from most
No matter the plight,
He held his post
His family he held
Always close to his heart
Nothing, not even mileage
Could keep them apart
Beloved son, brother, husband and
Father, he surely will be missed
But we will always have memories
That the angels kissed
His last days he responded to the
Call that beckoned his heart
He accepted Divine forgiveness
And did his part
Cocooned in his family's love and
Angels all around
His final dispatch....Jesus!!
