I'm so glad I live in a land I can call,
The land of the free.
Where we are able to go for a walk,
And sit in the Shade of a tree.

No one to torture us,
Or send us to prison,
No bowing down to false gods
We worship the One who is risen.

But times are getting frightful,
And we must pray our freedoms last,
For this world we live in,
Is moving much too fast.

We will take each day one at a time,
By His loving Grace He supplies,
The strength and courage we'll need,
As the need should arise.

Thank God for today,
For there is no promise of tomorrow.
And He knows best for us,
Tomorrow might only bring sorrow.
