Heaven is a wonderful place,
I'm looking forward to see.
When I leave this life of sorrow,
For with God I'll ever be.

He has a mansion over there,
That he built for my new home.
What happiness I will know,
And I'll never walk alone.

Don’t weep for me when I am gone,
Or wish me back on Earth,
I'm in a better place now,
Far better than Earth’s worth.

Rejoice along with Heavenly angels,
As you see me leave from here.
For with me again you'll be,
If you've received the Savior Dear.

It’s time for me to leave you now,
God waits at Heaven's Gates,
He'll take me to my Heavenly mansion,
It’s been a long, long, wait.
